| Hortensia Fussy was born in Graz and studied in Vienna with sculptor Fritz Wotruba. He, as well as the artists Klimt, Schiele and Boeckl, greatly influenced her work. The substance of her art is the study of the human body, the creation of a "human architecture", which in her artistic language is clear, harmonious, tranquil and poised. The exhibit focuses on her drawings and watercolors, key techniques for her artistic process of shaping figures. |
